Drinking rules
General:
- Whenever you take a Locomotive from one of the five face-up cards, choose another player who has to take a shot.
- Whenever the five face-up cards have to be discarded, everyone takes 5 sips.
- Whenever you claim a route, give away a number of sips equal to the point value of the route, distributed among the other players as you see fit.
- Whenever you claim a route by using a Locomotive, take a number of sips equal to the route length.
- Whenever you use your turn to draw more Destination Ticket cards, take a shot for each Destination Ticket card you choose to keep.
- At the end of the game, give away a number of sips equal to the amount of points on your completed Destination Ticket cards minus the amount of points on the Destination Ticket cards you didn’t complete, distributed among the other players as you see fit.
Why it’s a good drinking game:
Ticket to Ride heavily employs the risk/reward element, making it a perfect fit for drinking rules. With these rules, there’s opportunity for big rewards, but you’ll always be running the risk of ending up having to drink more sips yourself than you’ll be dishing out. No matter which side the scales will end up tipping, we assure you that you’ll be in for a lot of laughs following these rules!
