Drinking rules
General:
- Each time a player flips a flower during the “ challenge phase”, all other players take one sip of their drink/beer.
- Each time a player flips a skull during the “challenge phase”, that player takes a shot.
- Each time a player has successfully completed a challenge, by flipping over the number of discs announced, revealing only flower-discs, all other players take a shot.
- When a player wins the game all the losing players take a number of shots equal to the amount of discs still in their possession.
Variation: Lighter rules:
- When the rules tell you to take a shot, take instead 5 sips of your drink/beer.
Why is it a good drinking game?
“Skull” makes for a good drinking game due to its simple rules, social interaction, and the element of bluffing. The bluffing elements really create some tense and heated moments around the table and because the rounds in Skull are relatively quick, allowing for rotation and giving everyone a chance to be involved, the game continues to be dynamic, without dragging on.
