Drinking rules
Passive
- Everytime one of your units dies, take 1 sip per strength of the lost unit
- Once per round, the holder of the Messenger Raven may take 2 sips, to avoid taking 1 shot
- Once per round, the holder of the Iron Throne can give away 7 sips, distributed as the holder sees fit
- Whenever you are the highest bidder using Power Tokens, give away sips equal to the difference between your bid and the lowest bidder’s bid
- Whenever the Wildings increase in power, everyone takes 1 sip
- Whenever there’s a Wilding Victory, everyone takes 3 sips
Influence- and Supply Tracks
- Whenever you move down on either influence track, take 1 sip per position moved
- Whenever you gain the Valyrian Steel Sword, give 1 shot to any other player
- Whenever you lose either the Valyrian Steel Sword, Iron Throne or Messenger Raven game piece, take 1 shot
- Whenever you move up on the Supply Track give away 1 sip per position moved
- Whenever you move down on the Supply Track, take 1 sip per position moved
Combat
- Whenever you lose control of an area, take 1 sip
- If that area had a Supply Icon printed on it, take 2 additional sips
- If that area had a Power Icon printed on it, take 2 additional sips
- If that area had a Castle, take 5 additional sips
- If that area had a Fortress, finish your drink, then take 1 shot
- If you lose control of your Capitol take 2 shots
- Whenever you unsuccessfully attack an area controlled by an enemy player, take 1 shot
- Whenever you defeat a non-player controlled castle, give away 2 sips to any other player
- Whenever you support another player in combat, and that player is victorious, both you and the player you supported take 1 sip in celebration
- Whenever you support another player in combat, and that player is not victorious, drink one sip for each unit on the losing side
- Whenever you use the power of the Valyrian Steel Sword, your opponent takes 1 shot
Why it’s a good drinking game:
The long playtime, combined with the games encouragement of table talk, allows for plenty of time and opportunity to enjoy your beverage of choice throughout the evening.
